Job Description:
A Team Lead - Security Officer is responsible for overseeing the
security team and maintaining a safe and secure environment for
students, staff, and visitors at a college campus. Key duties
include coordinating the patrolling of the campus, supervising the
monitoring of security systems, leading the response to
emergencies, and ensuring the enforcement of campus regulations.
The Team Lead must also oversee access management to buildings,
ensure the maintenance of detailed incident reports, and coordinate
effectively with local law enforcement as necessary. This role
requires excellent leadership skills, strong communication
abilities, vigilance, and the capacity to respond decisively in
emergency situations. The Team Lead - Security Officer also plays a
crucial role in training and mentoring security staff, enhancing
team performance, and developing security strategies.
