Job Description:

Organization Specific Functions: Auditing This individual is responsible for auditing a portfolio of large strategic fleets in excess of $850 million in annual sales to ensure that the billing is accurate and free of embedded receivables. This is a vital part of the role and requires strong technical and problem solving skills along with the ability to communicate findings in a concise and timely way as it relates to risk and profitability. Risk Management This person manages a portfolio of large credit lines in excess of $2.4 billion, utilizing daily and monthly reporting engineered from a complex billing system, along with reconciling customized billing files, in order to ensure the adjudicated credit line is never exceeded. Identifying predetermined target delinquency rates, while assessing and collecting on delinquent balances is critical. This person must meet timeliness standards, and provide reporting to customers as well as internal stakeholders that conveys complete, accurate, timely, and actionable information, all considering the balance between risk of loss and customer retention. Project Management Projects assigned to the individuals and/or groups require a strong discipline of planning, time management, strong communications skills, an understanding of WEX methodologies, and strong organization, and leadership skills by identifying, utilizing, and motivating appropriate resources. This person must stay on task with set deliverables on an assigned project and deliver solid, positive results, along with strong communication to all parties impacted that identifies efficiencies gained, system or process enhancements, and show economic gain based on the overall objectives. Communication The role of communication for this person is critical in the day to day operation for the global virtual payment solutions that WEX offers. This person must deliver critical information to customers and/or appropriate internal stakeholders, to elicit change, create understanding, and/or generate action or no action. Knowing and understanding your audience is critical in the communication process. The conveyance of complete, accurate and timely reporting of the risk analyzed on an on-going basis is critical to the success of the individual, the team, and the business. Account/Relationship Management Part of the success of this role is to be multi-functional, providing operational support, to include but is not limited to, the customer, WEX Bank representatives and Account Managers. Developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders is critical in attaining department and company goals. Being able to balance risk management and customer retention is crucial in this role. Complexity and Creativity - This person is required to work with large, specialized, complex billing files that are received daily and must extrapolate and manipulate the data using the tools and strategies designed for this role. This individual must have the capability to understand the complex architecture and how the data is presented. He/she must possess an ability to conceptualize and implement system workarounds due to platform limitations and constraints. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Minimum Required Qualifications for Consideration Bachelors degree and two to three years work experience in a related field Intermediate to advanced account reconciliation and auditing skills Intermediate accounting knowledge Analytical and problem solving skills Intermediate to advanced computer software literacy (word, excel, access, outlook, Power Point) Detail oriented Organizational/Time Management ability Strong customer service and leadership skills Effective oral and written communication skills Sound decision making/judgment Team oriented Flexible/Adaptable to change Self-motivated Coaching skills/mentoring Goal oriented Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to multi-task Self motivated Self managed Effective management of high profile strategic relationships - Preferred Qualifications Bachelors Degree in business, finance, accounting or related field preferred Strong negotiation skills Solid presentation skills Excellent interpersonal skills Project management experience Strong orientation towards high volume, fast paced, time sensitive business operation Comfortable researching and interpreting complex contract language Ability to identify opportunities to improve performance and efficiencies within department and self
