Job Description:

CFS recently began working with a young, but stable & growing chemical manufacturing company that is driven by its vision to use sustainable processes to create high-performing ingredients for the cosmetics, personal care & fragrance industry. The company is building out its accounting group and looking for talented people to help scale the company's platform with the backing of its investors.
The Senior Accountant will report to the VP of Finance and work to make their systems and processes simple and effective allowing for all financial activity to be accounted for timely & accurately. The ideal candidate will be a team player with great communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally to facilitate these efforts.
What the Senior Accountant will do:

• 
  
• Accounts Receivables & Account Payables
  
• General Ledger & Bank Reconciliations
  
• The senior accountant will handle inventory & cost accounting
  
• Support M/e and Y/e close activities
  
• Special projects as assigned
  
  The ideal senior accountant will be:

  • Someone with a solid accounting foundation who understands debits & credits
    
  • Someone tech savvy with intermediate Excel proficiency
