ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



  • Accurately reconcile daily revenues, receipts, and ledger balances into daily report.


  • Reconciles daily cash deposits and credit card transmissions and resolve any discrepancies.


  • Sort and verify accuracy of Night Audit work i.e., including reconciliation of banquet check extensions, coding of banquets at cost, review and route sales and promotion checks with back-up.


  • Review, research and respond to all credit card chargebacks and disputes.


  • Reconciles taxes daily and verifies all tax-exempt backup is on file and upload the tax-exempt revenue into Profitsword.


  • Enters invoices into accounts payable system weekly after verifying a purchase order was received from ordering department head and obtaining General Manager's approval.


  • Handle all vendor inquiries and reconcile vendor statements.


  • Handle General Cashier duties include Petty Cash disbursements.


  • Prepare and maintain House Bank contracts for Front Office and Food & Beverage associates.


  • Perform monthly bank counts on al house banks


  • Monitor records of inventory to control accuracy of supply distribution.


  • Assist hotel management in maintaining all licenses, permits, insurance and contracts.


  • Perform any other job duties as assigned


    REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
    Knowledge of hotel department operations. Knowledge of computers and training techniques. Presents a professional appearance and manner.
