Description:Kinsley Power Systems is seeking a Senior Director, Sales Operations who will be responsible for providing analytic and administrative assistance to the Chief Operating Officer, as well as the overall supervision of the inside sales support team. The Senior Director, Sales Operations is also responsible for providing sales support activities for assigned outside sales staff. This may include but is not limited to preparing and entering quotes; entering sales orders, customer contracts and agreements; tracking and managing projects to ensure completion; preparing and/or assisting with invoicing; and providing reports and data relevant to their focus area, as necessary. The successful candidate for this position will be able to utilize project data and collaborate with assigned Sales staff, Finance and Service staff to make future projects more productive and cost-efficient.Kinsley Power Systems, a family-owned business, has been an industry leader in generator service, sales and rentals for over 55 years.   • Clearly understand and relay the assigned Sales team members and customers' needs cross-departmentally as appropriate
  • Supervise inside sales support function, including direct management of staff, including hiring, evaluating, coaching, counseling and termination of employees, as needed
  • Design business requirements; manage implementation of system modifications, including end user training
  • Conduct regular inventory, sales pipeline analysis, sales loss win analysis and customer related analyses and act as liaison with the factory. Recommend changes to channel partner management and customer prospecting as well as inventory strategy based upon historic and predictive analysis
  • Tracks outside sales employee performance to quota, assist with quota setting and forecasting for budget process
  • Financial planning and analysis; analyzing performance data, including but not limited to creating and driving KPIs, improving project margin and COGS
  • Provide regular communication for all assigned projects as appropriate.
  • Follow up on work in process to ensure appropriate work flow process through sales, supply base companies, operations, and finance/collections is being followed Preferred Senior Director, Sales Operations Skills:
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred; plus 5+ years related experience and 3+ year's supervisor experience; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
    • Previous project management experience preferred
    • Attention to detail, and aptitude for statistics
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
