An experienced Senior Credit and Collections Specialist, reporting
to the Head of Credit and Collections. Performs Credit Management,
Collection, and Risk Mitigation tasks for TRUMPF, Inc. Assists with
improving departmental performance and efficiency as well as
reporting tasks.
Senior Credit & Collections Specialist Responsibilities
Work closely with the Head of Credit and Collections to meet target
requirements, improve departmental efficiency, and make suggestions
for inter-departmental improvements.
Manage and mitigate risk through timely identification and
escalation of problems, and propose resolutions, to the Head of
Credit and Collections.
Actively manage and perform collection responsibilities for high
value customer accounts, driving improvement in the Accounts
Receivable condition and mitigating risks.
Effectively communicate, engage, and collaborate closely with all
TRUMPF Inc. for problem resolution and customer support.
Monitor the company Aged Trial Balance (ATB) for TRUMPF Inc,
focusing on driving improvement and quality of AR.
Perform credit and risk analysis of new and existing customers.
Work with all TRUMPF Inc. internal and external customers on
accounts receivable balances in a proper and timely manner.
Work with Contracts and Finance to mitigate risk, reduce overdue
AR.
Provide leadership, guidance, and training for team members in the
areas of collection, credit management, performance.
Assist with business performance report creation and tracking,
improving Department performance and transparency within the
organization.
Assist with reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis (e.g.,
Monthly AR, Quarterly Bad Debts, Productivity Management, Business
Segment reviews, Internal Audit Tasks)
Review Dun & Bradstreet / Moody's credit reports; process UCC
filings and terminations.
Collaborate with external debt collection agencies as needed.
Open new accounts, process trade and bank references, and signed
credit applications.
Education
Bachelor's degree
MBA advantageous
Experience
Minimum 5 years B2B Credit Management and Collections experience,
preferably in a diversified manufacturing company.
Proficient with Excel and Power BI
SAP Proficiency
