Fidelity Investments, a global leader in financial services, is seeking a Vice President of Alternative Investments Data Strategy to enhance our data-driven decision-making capabilities within our Alternative Investments division. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of data strategies that optimize our investment performance in alternative markets such as real estate, private equity, and hedge funds. The successful candidate will spearhead initiatives to integrate advanced analytics and data science techniques to improve fund strategies and operational efficiencies, ensuring robust data governance and innovative asset management solutions. Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy for alternative investments. Collaborate with IT and analytics teams to implement advanced data solutions. Enhance data quality and accessibility to drive investment decisions. Manage a team of data analysts and scientists, providing leadership and strategic direction. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to data usage. Coordinate with stakeholders to align data initiatives with business goals. Strong ability in data strategy development and implementation. Knowledge of alternative investments and financial markets. Proficiency in data analytics tools and software, e.g., SQL, Python. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage cross-functional teams and projects. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), preferred. Certificate in Data Science or Advanced Data Analytics, a plus.
