Administrative Trainee State of Connecticut Judicial Branch
Glastonbury The State of Connecticut Judicial Branch is seeking an
Administrative Trainee to: Perform case management functions
related to ICJ returns and supervision transfers, including, but
not limited to, resource coordination, plan development, process
monitoring, and collaboration with parents, legal guardians, and
demanding State authorities. Serve as a liaison between Juvenile
Probation Officers, Juvenile Matters Supervisors, Juvenile
Residential Services, the Department of Children and Families, and
ICJ compact offices/commission staff. Process and manage ICJ
requests. Submit referrals and inquiries to compact
offices/commission staff and ensure compliance monitoring. Review
field reports for accuracy and timely submission to compact
offices. Facilitate Interstate Compact Council and stakeholder
meetings. Conduct training for internal and external partners.
Respond to afterhours ICJ-related matters. Assist in overseeing
compliance with ICJ rules and best practices within Juvenile
Probation. Support the Juvenile Probation leadership in managing
ICJ and Juvenile Probation operations, including carrying out
project management responsibilities. Provide field support. Salary
Range: $66,558 - $85,778/year – plus State of Connecticut benefits.
New employees begin at the minimum. The starting salary for
existing state employees may be higher than the minimum, in
accordance with existing Judicial Branch policy. The State of

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: A Bachelor's or a Master's degree.* *Note:
