Job Description:
TruGreen, a national leader in lawn care services, is currently
seeking an experienced Fleet Mechanic to join our maintenance team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of
our fleet of service vehicles and equipment, ensuring they operate
safely and efficiently. As part of our commitment to sustainability
and excellent service, our fleet mechanics play a crucial role in
maintaining the backbone of our operational efficiency. If you are

vehicle maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, tire
rotations, and brake inspections. Diagnose and repair mechanical
and electrical vehicle problems. Conduct safety inspections of
vehicles and equipment. Maintain work logs, repairs, and
maintenance records. Troubleshoot issues to reduce downtime and
ensure operational readiness. Recommend improvements and
modifications for vehicle performance. Collaborate with the
logistics team to coordinate vehicle availability. Knowledge of
gasoline and diesel engines. Experience with hydraulic, brake,
electrical, and suspension systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic
tools and equipment. Ability to manage time effectively and work
autonomously. Strong problem-solving skills. Good communication and
organizational skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Valid driver’s license, preferably a Commercial
Driver’s License (CDL). ASE Certification (Automotive Service
Excellence) is preferred.
