Role: The Golf Course Maintenance position at Fox Hopyard Greens
Maintenance is essential for ensuring the course remains in
pristine condition for all players. This role involves a variety of
tasks aimed at maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of
the golf course, including mowing, landscaping, and irrigation
management. The successful candidate will work closely with a team
to uphold the highest standards of turf health and appearance,
contributing to an enjoyable golfing experience. Flexibility in
scheduling is crucial, as the role requires working weekends,
holidays, and in various weather conditions. Ultimately, this
position plays a vital role in enhancing the overall quality and
reputation of the golf course. Minimum Qualifications: Ability to
lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in various weather
conditions. Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and
holidays. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in
landscaping or golf course maintenance. Knowledge of turf
management practices and equipment operation. Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and
edging to ensure the golf course is well-kept. Assist in the
operation and maintenance of landscaping equipment, ensuring all
tools are in good working order. Collaborate with team members to
complete projects and tasks efficiently, fostering a strong team
environment. Adhere to safety protocols while lifting and moving
materials, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
Skills: The required skills for this position are crucial for daily
operations on the golf course. Proficiency in using landscaping
equipment ensures that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently
and effectively. Flexibility to work overtime and during weekends
