Job Description Job Description Utility Foreman Job Description We are seeking an experienced Working Foreman to lead crews in electrical utility construction projects. This is a hands-on role where you’ll not only manage and motivate teams but also actively participate in the work. You’ll be responsible for laying out tasks, coordinating multiple crews, and ensuring safe, efficient completion of utility installations. Responsibilities Supervise and motivate a team of 4–5 workers, fostering teamwork and productivity. Working around storm, sewer, water and conduit - all new construction. Actively participate in the installation of duct banks, site lighting, and other electrical utility infrastructure. Safely operate and oversee the use of excavators, front loaders, and back loaders for trenching, backfilling, and material handling. Plan and organize daily tasks across multiple crews, ensuring alignment with project drawings and schedules. Review drawings using Bluebeam software and manage digital workflows via iPad. Build trust with crews, motivate workers, and maintain a positive jobsite environment. Essential Skills Proven experience in electrical utility construction, including duct banks, site lighting, and underground utility installation. Hands-on equipment experience with excavators, loaders, and back loaders. Comfortable with technology, including Bluebeam and iPads for reviewing drawings and managing tasks. Strong leadership and soft skills: Ability to motivate, guide, and connect with diverse crews. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bilingual communication skills (Spanish/English) are a plus, given the majority Spanish-speaking workforce. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is based in a data center with standard work hours from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, with overtime available on Fridays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint George, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
