Job Description Job Description Superintendent - K-12/Commercial Construction Superintendent - K-12/Commercial Position Overview The Superintendent - K-12/Commercial oversees the planning, execution, and completion of K-12 and commercial construction projects. This role focuses on ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of construction projects from pre-construction to completion. Coordinate and supervise construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications. Oversee the scheduling of work and the management of resources, including labor and materials. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations on the construction site. Maintain communication with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to address project issues and progress. Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets industry standards and specifications. Prepare project reports and documentation to track progress and communicate updates to stakeholders. Qualifications Proven experience as a Superintendent in K-12 or commercial construction. Strong knowledge of construction processes and project management principles. Experience with construction management software, preferably Procore. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and team members. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Familiarity with educational facility standards and regulations is a plus.
