Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1 years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support students across K-12th grades. This role is based in the Bangor, ME area and will continue through the end of the school year with a strong possibility of renewal. Key Responsibilities: - Provide psychological services including assessments, evaluations, and interventions for students in grades K-12. - Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs). - Assist in identifying students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs, offering strategies to promote well-being and academic success. - Conduct counseling sessions and crisis interventions as needed. - Maintain accurate records and communicate findings professionally with relevant stakeholders. Qualifications and Experience: - Valid School Psychologist credentials or licensure appropriate for the state. - Experience working with students at elementary, middle, and high school levels (Grades K-5, 6-8, 9-12). - Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention techniques. - Ability to manage caseloads effectively and work collaboratively within a school setting. - Excellent communication and organizational skills.
