Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
position is available for a School Psychologist serving students
across K-12 grades, including elementary, middle (grades 6-8), and
high school (grades 9-12) levels. This role offers the opportunity
to provide vital psychological services within a school
environment, supporting student academic, emotional, and social
development. Location: - Lewiston, ME Responsibilities: - Conduct
psychological assessments and evaluations for students from
kindergarten through 12th grade. - Collaborate with educators,
parents, and other professionals to develop and implement
individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
- Provide consultation and support to school staff regarding
behavioral and mental health concerns. - Participate in
multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven
decision-making processes. - Monitor student progress and adjust
interventions as necessary. - Promote a positive, safe, and
inclusive learning environment. Qualifications and Desired
Experience: - State certification or licensure as a School
Psychologist. - Experience working with a diverse student
population across elementary, middle, and high school settings. -
Strong knowledge of assessment tools, special education laws, and
evidence-based intervention strategies. - Excellent communication
and collaboration skills. - Ability to manage multiple cases and
maintain detailed documentation. - Commitment to student well-being
