Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based Speech Language Pathologist position is available in the Plainfield, IL area serving K-12 students. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule aligned with school hours, primarily working with elementary students. The job is a school year contract with employment as a W-2 employee, providing stability during the academic year. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy services to an elementary caseload of up to 35-40 students. Deliver interventions in general education and special education classrooms, including supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Participate in orientation and ongoing onsite support to ensure clinical excellence. Develop and manage a caseload with flexibility around the school day schedule. Collaborate with teachers and school staff to promote student communication success. Qualifications: Speech-Language Pathologist credentials (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or school-specific licensure). New graduates with CFY are encouraged to apply; supervision will be provided. Comfortable working within diverse classroom settings.
