Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
serving preschool-aged students with special needs in a K-12 school
setting. The position involves providing therapy to children ages 3
to 5 within various early childhood programs, including preschool
special education classrooms, Head Start, PreK Counts, daycares,
and community preschools. Locations for this role include: Adams
County (based in New Oxford, PA) York County (based in York
Learning Center, York, PA) Franklin County (based in Chambersburg,
PA) This position offers a caseload that will reach approximately
55 students by year-end. The work schedule follows a preschool
stretch calendar, totaling 188 days per year, with approximately 35
hours per week dedicated to direct therapy and related travel. Half
a day per week is allocated for paperwork and IEP meetings.
Therapists will have a designated home base but will travel between
buildings as part of their responsibilities. Preferred candidates
will have experience in early intervention preschool programs and
be comfortable providing services to walk-in students in addition
to regular caseload. Candidates must hold appropriate certification
in Pennsylvania. Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply, but
supervision arrangements must be provided by the agency.
Qualifications and Experience: Certification in Speech-Language
Pathology with CCC preferred Experience in early intervention and
preschool speech therapy settings Ability to manage a caseload of
approximately 55 students Willingness to travel within assigned
county locations Strong organizational skills for paperwork and IEP
documentation Clinical Fellows must have agency supervision
provided This role excludes SLPAs and VOCO use is not supported in
