Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. This position is for a Special Education Teacher
working in an Emotional Support Classroom for grades 3-5 within a
school setting in Easton, PA. The contract runs from ASAP through
June 10, 2026, with a work schedule of 35 hours per week, including
a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, generally from 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM.
Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction and support
to students with emotional and behavioral needs in grades 3-5.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
tailored to student needs. Collaborate with general education
teachers, staff, and families to promote student success. Monitor
and document student progress, reporting as required. Maintain a
safe and supportive classroom environment that fosters student
growth. Qualifications: Must hold a fully active Pennsylvania
teaching certificate in Special Education. Prior experience working
in Special Education, preferably with emotional support students.
Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to
work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
