available for a Physical Therapist specializing in school-based
therapy services located in Canton, MI. This role focuses on
providing skilled physical therapy support to students within an
educational setting, helping them achieve mobility, function, and
participation goals necessary for academic success.
Responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive physical therapy
assessments for students Developing and implementing individualized
treatment plans tailored to students' needs Collaborating with
educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support
student progress Providing direct physical therapy interventions to
improve functional outcomes Documenting therapy sessions, progress
reports, and compliance with school and regulatory requirements
Participating in team meetings and individualized education program
(IEP) planning Qualifications and experience: Licensed Physical
Therapist with relevant state certifications Experience providing
physical therapy services in a school environment preferred Strong
knowledge of pediatric physical therapy principles and school-based
intervention strategies Ability to communicate effectively with
children, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and organizational
