Hardware Applications Engineer Director

As a member of our Engineering Team, you are a highly motivated
professional with a passion for technology and working with people.
You will head our growing Applications Engineering team while
working cross functionally with internal stakeholders, customers,
partners, as well as suppliers. You have very strong computer
hardware technical skills, are motivated to work with and help
solve our customers evolving needs, as well as mentoring and
growing others on the team.
This is how you approach your day. You:
Lead and grow our Hardware Applications Engineering team.
Work with prospective and existing customers alongside our sales
team to identify, collect and analyze the requirements of the
hardware needed and establish optimal solutions to fit their
Assess opportunities in terms of business attractiveness and make
Advise and guide customers based on your technical expertise
regarding technology, OnLogic's existing products and roadmap as
well as new technology developments.
Always strive to exceed the customer's expectations.
Take ownership for all processes in the Hardware Applications
Drive continuous improvement including value stream mapping to
optimize processes and minimize waste.
Collaborate with Product Management and Procurement Teams to
identify and evaluate new computer hardware systems and
configurations, components and related products.
Conduct testing and validation of new products for hardware,
mechanical & software compatibility.
Provide technical support to the Sales team and other internal
stakeholders as needed to meet the needs of our customers including
regulatory, mechanical and software competencies.
Provide engineering support for new product development and
Perform troubleshooting & root cause analysis on computers or
components as well as technical reports as needed.
Develop work instructions and QA procedures for all new products in
cooperation with Production.

A passionate Hardware Applications Engineering Director to join us

have experience leading others, will remain up to date with new

Fluent communication and writing abilities are essential.This is
You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical
Engineering, or related field.
You have a minimum of 5 years engineering work experience. Prior
professional experience with small form factor computer systems is
You have lead a small team for a minimum of 2 years.
You have a strong knowledge of computers, motherboards, processors,
and other related components as well as working knowledge of
current operating systems.
You are excited to interact with customers.
You pay attention to detail and exhibit a strong focus on quality.
Must be organized, with excellent analytical and problem solving
You are excellent at Project Management.
You exhibit superior ability to manage time, shifting priorities
and ability to effectively communicate project milestones or
changes to cross functional teams.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
