We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, hands-on, and creative individual to join our Operations Team as a Associate Mechanical Engineer. In this role, the individual will support our mechanical energy savings solutions strategy and deployment, a core competency of our fast-growing company. The ideal candidate will have hands-on / design mechanical and electrical engineering experience across a wide range of energy savings solutions and hardware systems, with a passion for energy efficiency, the green economy. Must be eager to take a leadership role in a fast paced, leading energy management company.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or equivalent four-year technical engineering degree.
Have certification in any of the following: Certified Energy Manager, Certified Energy Professional, Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional, LEED Accreditation, Certified Energy Auditor, or Professional Engineer license.
2-5 Years Of Hands-on Industry-related Experience.
Thorough knowledge of mechanical building operation; construction and maintenance materials, practices, equipment, and systems.
Experience with commercial side energy analysis (energy efficiency, renewable technology, HVAC analysis, building load analysis, etc.).
Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and systems.
Knowledge of building codes and environmental/ safety regulations.
