Maintenance Mechanic M1/M2
Location: Littleton, NH 03561
Pay Rate:$25.00 - $33.75/hr
Hubbell Benefit Package

Sign-on bonus of $1000 (after 90-days worked)
Hours (1st Shift): 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Direct Hire Details


  • This is a Direct Hire permanent position with Hubbell
  • Supplier to receive a one-time Permanent Placement Fee based on individual s first yearly base salary upon successful start (fee is pursuant to executed MSP Contractual agreement)
  • Supplier will be involved during the recruitment and hiring process
  • Hubbell HR will be extending the offer directly to candidate and provide details of the offer once accepted
  • Upon acceptance of offer, Hubbell with communicate directly with candidate the onboarding requirements and process
  • Supplier will be provided the targeted start date and will receive updates on status throughout process
  • Upon a successful start date, email communication with be sent to Supplier as to the details of the placement fee and invoice needed for payment processing


    Essential Functions of the Job:


  • Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for the takes corrective action. Makes necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
  • Maintain advanced automated equipment with components such as vision systems, sensors, robots/cobots.
  • Tests equipment to check for operational status. Clears jams and tries out equipment after repairs, changeovers, or when new equipment is being instated. Assists operations engineers and operators in analyzing, repairing, and bringing equipment back on line using, tests, measuring, and examining products to ensure the equipment is working properly.
  • Makes preventive maintenance checks and inspections of assigned equipment reports findings to supervisor and takes appropriate action.
  • Notifies supervisor of operation department and maintenance of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken or planned.
  • Will work on such machines but not limited to, lathes, punch presses, forging machines, drills, hydraulic machines, air compressors, etc.
  • Work details include the analysis of machine trouble, tearing down of equipment, dismantling, performing repairs and or replacing damaged parts, and reassembling machine in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Must be skilled in fitting bearings, aligning wheels, shafts, etc., and various metallurgical properties of metals.
  • Capable of operating electric arc welding and acetylene welding to do all type of maintenance work. Will be responsible for their own work and for those helpers that may be assigned to complete the job.


    Additional Responsibilities:
    May be required to perform various other duties, and operate other pieces of equipment, such as but not limited to, forklift, crane, hand tools, saws, drills, etc., and other pieces of equipment as required by supervisor or the job requirement.

    Job Qualifications:


    • M1 Competent Level:


      • Associates degree from an authorized technical school, or equivalent experience, with a recommended 30 plus credit hours of trade school, or a journeyman status from an approved apprentice program.


      • M2 Senior Level:

        • Associates degree from an authorized technical school, or equivalent experience, with a recommended 30 plus credit hours of trade school, or a journeyman status from an approved apprentice program.
        • 10+ years of experience operating/maintaining manufacturing equipment may be substituted for the educational requirement.




          Physical Requirements

          Physical Effort:


          • Ability to lift 60-80 lbs. with assistance from others or lifting devices when loading and unloading parts, materials, dies, fixtures, setting up equipment, and all other manual processes, design lay outs, and duties in the job.
          • Ability to walk, hear, see in order to reasonably perform essential job functions.
          • Ability to lift 50 lbs. with assistance from others or lifting devices from floor to waist and waist to floor.
          • Ability to stand and perform various job functions for long periods of time, with company standard break periods for rest.

            Mental Effort:


            • Ability to understand type and nature of essential job functions.
            • Ability to understand necessary safety procedures and precautions.
            • Mental/emotional endurance for repetitive performance of essential job functions.
