Engineering Technician II here at Honeywell Fire Systems, you will
play a crucial role in supporting our engineering team, processes
and systems. You will provide technical expertise and support to
ensure end to end testing and verification of fire systems
products. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will
contribute to the success of our projects and the overall growth of
our business.You will report directly to our Lab Engineering
Supervisor and you'll work out of our Northford Connecticut
facility located just 15 minutes from Newhaven Connecticut.In this
role, you will impact our business unit by providing technical
support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the quality and
efficiency of our engineering processes. You will collaborate with
cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and
implement best practices. Your ability to work in a fast-paced
environment and solve complex problems will be instrumental in
meeting project deadlines and delivering high-quality

AssistanceKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:--- Work In a team environment,
support the R&D efforts for the Fire Group--- Learn new
products and processes.--- Perform verification testing on NPI and
legacy Fire Alarm products.--- Troubleshooting new designs---
Analyzing circuit performance using electronic test equipment---
Modifying SMT and through-hole circuits from drawings--- Produce
clear and concise engineering reports and documents.--- Meet
project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.--YOU MUST
HAVE:--- High School Diploma or GED--- 2+ years of experience as an
Engineering Technician or a related role earn new products and
processes.--- Ability to solder and modify PCB assemblies.WE
VALUE:--- Experience in Perform verification testing on NPI and
legacy Fire Alarm products.--- Produce clear and concise
engineering reports and documents.--- Reading and understanding
electronic schematics--- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an
Engineering Technician or a related role--- Experience in Fire
Alarm Control Panel test support--- Self-motivated individuals who
can work with little supervision, consistently taking the
initiative to get things done, and doing things before being asked
by others or forced to by eventsAdditional Information
