Job Mission
To realize 'World Class' support to Manufacturing in order to
ensure highest product quality, short lead-times and 'short
time-to-market' by continuous improvement of ASML's new and
existing products and processes.
ASML is the world's leading provider of lithography systems for the
semiconductor industry, manufacturing complex machines critical to
the production of integrated circuits or chips. ASML's corporate
headquarters is in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. The company has
lithography research, development and manufacturing operations in
Wilton, Connecticut and in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. Technology
development centers and training and application facilities are
located in Asia, Europe and the United States.
The Manufacturing Operations in Wilton Connecticut is responsible
for the production of subassemblies for lithography tools as well
as purchasing and logistics. The complete production process of the
most advanced machines takes place within Manufacturing.
This position is based in the EUV Manufacturing Final Assembly and
Test group, within the manufacturing sector in Wilton, Connecticut.
This role will be directly responsible for helping to develop and
optimize our manufacturing process through Automation.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined
in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. - 730, et
seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access
such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business
demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are
immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
'Responsibilities
Define and create Manufacturing procedures and specifications.
Working to create and define Automation Processes within the
factory to optimize our process
Generate and maintain MRP controls of module production.
Evaluate and optimize process flow.
Generate technical work instructions.
Support production issues with concise troubleshooting of the
Electro-Mechanical systems and sub systems.
Evaluate and disposition failed parts with proposed solutions.
Review Failure Analysis Reports from suppliers and help validate
the root-cause of the failure.
Evaluate and improve Cycle Time and reduce Labor Hours through
continuous process improvement.
Review mechanical drawings to assess manufacturability of new
designs.
Create and design production tooling & qualification tests.
Generate mechanical drawings for tooling and parts from CAD
models.
Create and direct equipment calibration, upkeep, and new equipment
specification and procurement for all analytical instruments used
in manufacturing.
Education
Master Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Computer science or
another technical field with at least 2 internships in a technical
environment
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Computer Science or
another technical field with 2+ years of experience in a technical
environment
Experience
Experience with vacuum systems - mechanical aptitude a plus.
Exposure to complicated assembly experience preferred.
2+ years of experience in an Engineering environment. Co-op and
internship experience
Working knowledge of Programming languages such as Python, C, C++,
Java, C#

Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard,
finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and
stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
May require travel dependent on business needs.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and
ability to adjust focus.
Role within the Factory
Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing
coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire
duration of shift.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is
required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger,
handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and
stretch.
The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and
ability to adjust focus.
Can work under deadlines.
The environment generally is moderate in temperature with moderate
to high noise level.

Working around lasers; working with ladders; working on platforms;
and working around chemicals.
The employee is occasionally required to move around the
campus.
The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
May require travel dependent on company needs.
