Job Description:
CAD Programming / Purchasing Coordinator Job Summary We are
seeking a detail-oriented CAD Programming / Purchasing Coordinator
to join our custom closet manufacturing team. This role is
responsible for generating accurate cut lists, verifying CNC
machining instructions, ordering required materials, and supporting
smooth operations between design, production, and installation
teams. Precision, CAD expertise, and clear communication are
essential in this role. Key Responsibilities - Ensure all job files
are cut-listed accurately to minimize rework and installation
delays - Verify machining instructions from KCD, Plan-it, or other
CAD software for error-free execution - Order materials and special
orders in a timely manner to align with production schedules -
Collaborate with Designers to resolve any unclear or problematic
design elements - Maintain up-to-date records and follow-up actions
in Salesforce and related systems - Flag any missing designs or
paperwork and communicate with the appropriate supervisors - Ensure
every job packet contains all necessary parts, clearly labeled with
client information - Review design plans for accuracy and flag
exceptions that may affect production or install - Update and
maintain CAD part libraries and machining instructions in
coordination with other departments - Assist in computer system
maintenance, backups, and file management - Cross-train in basic
factory operations and maintain a clean, organized work area - Act
as a liaison between purchasing, production, installation, and
sales to ensure all instructions are accurate and clearly
communicated - Participate in team meetings with the sales staff to
discuss feedback and identify design improvements Qualifications -
High school diploma or equivalent required - Reliable
transportation - Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., KCD,
Plan-it), spreadsheets, and digital systems - Strong math skills
including fractions and decimals - Ability to accurately read and
use a tape measure - Previous experience in CAD, drafting, or a
