Job Description Job Description Machining Engineer - CNC Job Title: Machining Engineer - CNC Location: Biddeford, ME Salary: $85,000 - 100,000 Requirements: CNC machining, GD&T, Tool design, manufacturing, Lean/Six Sigma tools Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Machining Engineer with expertise in CNC machining processes to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing and optimizing machining operations to ensure precision and efficiency in production. This position requires a strong background in mechanical engineering and an understanding of tooling and manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities Design and optimize CNC machining processes to improve efficiency and product quality. Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues. Develop and implement tool designs that meet product specifications and tolerances. Utilize GD&T principles to ensure accurate measurement and quality control of machined parts. Conduct feasibility studies for new projects and provide technical support during the manufacturing process. Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in CNC machining and programming. Strong understanding of GD&T and its application in manufacturing. Experience with tool design and development for machining processes. Familiarity with industrial manufacturing practices and technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
