Job Description Job Description Job Title: Manufacturing Technician Job Description Join a dynamic team as a Composite Technician on the 2nd or 3rd shift, where you will play a crucial role in manufacturing composite parts. With opportunities to train on the 1st shift, this position offers flexibility and a shift differential. We are looking for someone with strong manufacturing and ideally composite material and Aerospace experience. Responsibilities Follow general instructions and sketches to manufacture composite parts. Perform assembly and fabrication using hand tools. Clean the workstation and collaborate with supervisors to address any issues. Operate equipment such as hand knives, automated power or hand cutters, injection mold presses, cranes, and other lifting devices. Record fabrication or machine operating parameters. Use simple inspection devices like protractors, calipers, micrometers, tapes, tension or weight scales, and gages. Essential Skills Minimum of 6 months manufacturing/production experience, ideally in assembly or similar fields that require attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Basic math skills. Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to lift and/or move up to 45 lbs. using proper lifting techniques. Steady work history. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in composites is a plus. Security clearance is a significant advantage. High School Diploma or GED is required. Why Work Here? Some areas may become hot during the summer months. Compliance with ITAR regulations is required, necessitating U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
