Job Description Job Description Job Title: Quality Technician - 1st Shift Job Description We are seeking a dedicated 1st shift Quality Technician responsible for performing quality inspections on the production floor. The role requires the use of precision measurement tools, maintaining tolerances of /- .002, and effectively communicating inspection results during production runs. The technician will identify root causes, navigate issues in real-time, review and complete claim forms and schedules, and process returns. Additionally, the role involves taking pictures, documenting data, and compiling reports using Outlook. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed. Training will occur on the day shift. Responsibilities Perform quality inspections on the production floor. Utilize precision measurement tools to maintain tolerances of /- .002. Communicate inspection results effectively during production runs. Identify root causes and navigate issues in real-time. Review and complete claim forms, schedules, and process returns. Take pictures and document findings. Compile and report data using Outlook. Lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Operate forklifts and overhead cranes. Essential Skills 2-3 years of industrial quality experience. Experience holding tolerances of /- .002. Proficiency with tape measures, micrometers, calipers, and taper gauges. Experience with quality software for tracking, documenting, and reporting (Invex software, Excel, Outlook). Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds. Willingness to obtain metatarsal boots. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Middlebury, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $47840.00/yr. - Medical (BCBS), Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Life Ins, 401 with 5% match - Family owned and company is continuing to grow - Monthly lunch-ins, random gifts/drawings (swag, blankets, black stones, beats headphones, PTO days, tool box, North Face, koozies, etc.) - Accrue 120hrs PTO over 1st year (can also request/take unpaid time off in no PTO in the system) 7 paid holidays (eligible to start using after 90 days, can rollover 40hrs/yr) - Additional $1/hr attendance bonus & a $50 per week towards cantina money (equivalent to additional $1.25/hr) - essentially = additional $2.25/hour - Annual boot voucher Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Middlebury,IN.
