sectors. Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and
motivated Senior Power Electronics Engineer to join our growing
Electrical Engineering team. In this role, you will lead and
coordinate the work of a small engineering team while developing
advanced power conversion systems for hybrid power solutions,
including clean-sheet designs for inverters, converters, and motor
control systems. You will play a key role in supporting power
electronics integration for next-generation generator sets, hybrid
powertrains, and electrified propulsion systems. Key
Responsibilities Lead clean-sheet design and development of AC/DC
and DC/DC power converters, including bidirectional inverters and
battery chargers. Perform magnetics and filter design, system-level
integration, and EMI hardening for military-grade systems. Design
and implement high-speed switching power electronics with
4-quadrant motor control and precise AC-DC regulation. Conduct
EMI/EMC testing, troubleshooting, and compliance verification to
DoD and MIL-STD requirements. Collaborate with mechanical,
firmware, and systems engineers to deliver compact, efficient, and
ruggedized power solutions. Document designs and results using
Microsoft Office tools and contribute to technical reports and
presentations. Interface with vendors, customers, and
multidisciplinary project teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical
Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field. Demonstrated
expertise in: Bidirectional inverters, DC/DC converter topologies,
and magnetics/filter design EMI hardening and compliance testing
for defense applications High-speed switching and motor control
(4-quadrant) Familiarity with AC-DC regulation principles and
practical circuit implementation. Proficiency with MS Office (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint). Must be a U.S. Person. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with weight- and efficiency-critical designs (e.g.,
aerospace, defense, UAVs). Background in hybrid power systems,
gensets, and MIL-STD compliant systems (e.g., AMMPS). Knowledge of
CANBUS/MODBUS communication protocols. Hands-on experience with PCB
layout and design tools such as EAGLE or Altium. Firmware
development experience (C/C++ preferred). Project management skills
with experience coordinating across teams and with external
