At Primo Brands Inc., we emphasize innovation and quality in all our operations, and we are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic B to join our Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management team. The successful candidate will be crucial in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our production lines, which are essential in the manufacturing and distribution of our diverse range of consumer goods. This role requires a mix of mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach to maintenance and repairs. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure efficient operation. Identify and diagnose mechanical problems and execute repairs in a timely manner. Work closely with the operations team to minimize machine downtime and improve productivity. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while performing tasks to promote a safe working environment. Record maintenance and repair work performed, and keep detailed logs to track ongoing issues and solutions. Assist in implementing new machinery and equipment, including calibration and adjustments as necessary. Collaborate with other maintenance team members to manage spare parts inventory and place orders for necessary supplies. Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Familiarity with electrical systems and basic PLC controls. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics. Proficiency in using hand and power tools for repairs. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Problem-solving abilities and a proactive work attitude.
