Job Description:
Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a
Direct Hire Manual Machinist role in Biddeford, ME. Our client is a

their manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities: · Set up,
operate, and maintain manual machining equipment, including lathes,
mills, grinders, and related tools. · Interpret and work from
blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to produce
precision parts. · Perform manual machining operations to meet
tight tolerances and quality standards. · Inspect finished parts
using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers,
calipers, and gauges. · Make machine adjustments as needed to
ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality. · Maintain a clean,
organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company
safety policies. · Perform routine maintenance on machines and
promptly report equipment issues or malfunctions. · Collaborate
with engineering, production, and quality teams to meet production
schedules and resolve challenges. · Accurately document work
performed, measurements taken, and any deviations from
specifications. · Follow all safety procedures and participate in
continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications: · High school
diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship is
preferred. · Proven experience as a Manual Machinist in a
manufacturing or job shop environment. · Strong ability to read
blueprints and technical drawings. · Proficiency with precision
measuring tools and manual machining equipment. · Ability to lift
up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. · Strong attention to
detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. · Excellent
problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. What We Offer:
