This candidate will utilize their experience and talents to provide engineering support to life testing processes of electro-mechanical and electronic products: Determines manufacturing capacity; leading action plan to meet customer demand through process changes / CapEx.
Processes / equipment risk assessment; mitigation plan elaboration
Adapts machine and equipment designs to factory and production standards
Improves production methods (use of Lean Manufacturing, Automation, Process Control); introducing business case and leading implementation plan.
Provides technical support to Design Engineering and Operations to develop HALT/HASS/ESS test and related procedures with a high utilization and efficiency of equipment.
Participation in Cost saving plan; SRR reduction and productivity projects
Evaluation of new technologies
Participation in 3-5yr ESS strategic plan; providing technical support Qualification: Basic Qualifications:
5 years of manufacturing engineering experience
3 years of Work experience planning and conducting life testing methods such as; Highly Accelerated Life Test (HALT), Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS) and Environmental Stress Screening (ESS). Preferred Qualifications:
Automotive engineering ESS experience preferred
Experience working with ESS machines and their software preferred.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, experience with Kaisen events or experience with a continuous improvement programs preferred
Excellent communication / presentation skills, Comfortable working directly with wage labor and executive leadership preferred.
Demonstrated success in working across functions, organizations, and all levels of management preferred
Demonstrated analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills
Achieving results through other team members and suppliers.
Drive for action and quality focused.
Highly motivated, proactive, self-directed worker Education: Bachelors Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or other related engineering technical discipline
