Sales Business Development Director

Job Description:

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

  • Manage and lead our Technical Sales organization responsible for outbound outreach and inbound channel coverage. --
  • Lead our initial customer contact organization to identify, qualify and escalate new leads for the organization.
  • Develop and implement the Sales strategic plan for the Technical Sales Team in alignment with our global team and are responsible for achieving the sales targets.
  • Manage overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management and demonstrate strong understanding of CRM use and best practices.
  • Help establish the sales team's hiring plan and you are involved in hiring to maximize growth through recruitment and selection of the right candidates.--
  • Use your excellent knowledge and experience in utilizing CRM and best practices.
  • Develop partnership and business development strategy based on research, expertise and understanding of OnLogic's strategy and goals.--
  • Build, manage and lead corporate relationships within corporate partnerships from executives to day-to-day project teams to executives through developing relationships in specific industries.
  • Project manage deal negotiations, prepare internal teams for negotiations, liaise with legal, product and engineering teams, negotiate contracts and manage deals post-execution. Build compelling partnership terms.--
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop a comprehensive strategic plan for driving new business.--
  • Research and develop strategies and plans that identify opportunities for new project development.--
  • You actively coach and mentor the Sales team using a solid sales--methodology. You demonstrate a clear track record of closing new business and growing existing business. --
  • You ensure the team's accountability to goal setting and hitting goals. You provide performance evaluations with an eye to improve team member output.
  • You establish and coach the Sales team on establishing appropriate strategic account plans. --
  • You travel 25%-30% of your time with the team members to our North American customers.--
    • You have a minimum of 10 years' sales experience in the IPC/embedded industry or an industry very closely related to OnLogic, with leadership experience of a sales team of at least 5 people.
    • You have a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.--
    • You have a proven track record of your team meeting and exceeding their goals.
    • You have experience in creating and managing incentive plans.--
    • You have demonstrated the ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment with shifting priorities.
    • You have demonstrated the ability to quickly and efficiently learn new processes.
    • You have excellent active listening skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • You have demonstrated the ability to hold yourself and others accountable are essential.
    • You have a strong business acumen: the ability to succinctly describe an opportunity and how to win.
    • You have outstanding consultative selling abilities and customer acquisition skills.--
    • You have excellent interpersonal skills and experience in managing executive level customers and partners.
    • You have the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to nurture a results-driven, team-oriented environment.
    • You have experience with a specific sales methodology and sales funnel management, as well as in choosing, deploying and using marketing and sales tools.
    • You have experience outside B2B sales experience.--
