Our products and services are backed up by a team of industry professionals who are dedicated to one goal - making our customers successful.Job Summary:The VP Strategic Business for the Commercial Segment will work directly with Enterprise/Segment Leadership Teams to create, implement, and lead a new sales team focused on MiTek's vision of collaborative innovation and client enablement. This leader will use their advanced sales and leadership skills to develop and implement a Corporate Sales structure suitable for a global operating company like MiTek. This new structure will focus on key decision makers and influencers (Owners/Developers, Architects, and General Contractors) with the ability to impact the commercial building industry in a material way.Essential Functions:

  • Leading the new Commercial Corporate Sales effort globally for the segment, which includes building out the team structure, implementing processes, and approaches that align with MiTek's strategic plans.
  • Creating a culture that expects to win and enjoys doing so with creativity, innovation and a mindset to be a trusted partner to potential customers.
  • Growing MiTek's revenue through the development and sale of new solutions driven by the growth of Transformational Partnerships and Strategic Account.
  • Evaluating sales operations to drive process optimization, territory and quota plans, forecasting, sales compensation, and overall sales force success
  • Establishing a Transformational Partnership sales team that will target opportunities to collaborate with clients who are mutually interested in investing in innovation.
  • Setting expectations for Transformational Partnership sales teams to maximize the value of our partnerships by leveraging Outcome Driven Innovation.
  • Establishing a Strategic Accounts sales teams that focus on enabling decision makers and influencers through the implementation and customization of existing MiTek solutions (Software, Services, Engineered Products, and Automation)
  • Developing the processes and structure needed to properly coordinate Corporate Account Sales efforts with Divisional Project sales efforts to provide a seamless MiTek experience for Transformational Partnerships and Strategic Accounts.
  • Implement a strategic selling process focused on prospecting through customer onboarding, in partnership with other Segment Leadership, Marketing and our Customer Experience Management team.
  • Assessing the opportunities, challenges, and resources to determine the optimum mix that maximizes results within budget constraints.
  • Tracking and reporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts and results across all segments; lead using data and transparently communicate strategy adjustments
  • Implementing sales recruiting, on-boarding, and career path/development plans to attract and retain the best talent who will continuously improve sales results.
  • Leveraging our CRM to ensure maximum coordination between sales teams, as well as optimal capture, analysis, and reporting of all sales pipeline data to provide insight and action relating to growth projections. Required Skills

    • Ability to develop/mentor/retain employees to build highly effective leadership teams

    • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and effective communication (verbal, written and listening)
    • Proven leadership in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, who has led cross-functional teams to define and achieve high-value objectives
    • Must have strong organizational & analytical skills with the ability to analyze data to identify opportunities and develop strategies that lead to business growth
    • Must have proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project (or similar planning tools)
    • Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence to a mixed audience, from individual contributors to C-Suite-- Required Experience Education:--
      • Bachelor's Degree in Business (MBA or advanced degree preferred)Experience:--
        • Ten plus years of sales leadership experience preferably at large enterprise, focused on selling into the commercial construction supply chain
        • History of success selling a range of products, software and services for both small and large firms with success in closing Fortune 5000 accounts
        • Background developing large complex enterprise deals (from $100 Million+) and experience managing a team of enterprise hunters
