POSITION SUMMARY:The Project Manager ("PM") runs a group of individual projects on a day-to-day basis as well as participates in the following processes: overall financial project management, crew scheduling, estimating reviews and resource planning. The position is responsible for managing human and equipment resources, schedules, sub-contractors, and engineering and other customer stakeholders to ensure that projects meet or exceed their estimated gross margin budgets. This also includes management of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. The PM is responsible for project deliverables of quality and customer satisfaction within the specified constraints of time and cost. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Functional Responsibilities

  • Accountable for project financial performance vs. the project budget.
  • Responsible for coordinating all resources required to perform project activities to efficiently execute planned work.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining a productive working relationship with client personnel.
  • Responsible for ensuring all work is executed in compliance with client and company safety standards.
  • Accountable for site work areas, bypass planning, traffic control and other required activities are completed timely in preparation for all sewer rehabilitation processes.
  • Responsible for effective weekly meeting project status updates with the team.
  • Actively participate in project bid reviews with business development team and/or estimators to ensure accurate bid and proposal preparation and consideration of possible risks/pitfalls associated with a job site, particular customer, area, or other circumstances.
  • Responsible for providing a work environment that is consistent with company policies regarding discrimination, violence, or harassment.
  • Assist in the assessment and motivation of a well-trained workforce. Administrative Responsibilities
    • Responsible for managing profit and loss on individual projects as assigned, including timely financial reporting through Monthly Project Reports for the WIP Review and via immediate notification to the management team of developing issues as they occur which may affect project financial performance.
    • Understanding and communicating accurate estimates to complete for projects for which the position is responsible via the Monthly Project Report process.
    • Accountable to learn new Foundation job requirements.
    • Responsible for timely and accurate preparation and processing of billings and invoice review in the A/R and A/P processes; responsible for timely follow-up and collection of project receivables.
    • Negotiate and manage subcontractor and vendor proposals/agreements to successfully complete required project tasks on time and on budget.
    • Actively participate in the Safety Program, promoting safe work practices and assisting crews to meet safety expectations. Reinforce/monitor safety compliance on assigned projects in coordination with company safety managers, HR, etc. JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/QUALIFICATION:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.       • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
      • Significant experience in related trenchless or municipal construction fields
      • Proficient in time management

      • Strong analytical mindset and excellent numerical skills
      • Demonstrated experience with customer service.
      • Proficient with safety requirements under OSHA

      • Demonstrated proficiency in using Construction Management systems (i.e., Foundation), Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other Microsoft applications.
      • Must be able to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen and MVR. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Most of the work is done inside an office environment. Must be able to:
        • Maneuver within the office area and sit for prolonged periods of time with some standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
        • Apply physical mobility, including reaching, lifting, holding, pushing, and pulling, carrying, bending, climbing stairs, kneeling, arm, and leg extension.
        • Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
