Summary
Maine Medical Partners has a career building opportunity for a
Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist (ACDI) to move into a
leadership role with MaineHealth. As the manager of the team, you
will lead and be a resource for the RN ACDI Specialists and the
ACDI Risk Support Specialists. Day-to-day duties will
include:
A bachelor's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field is
required. A RN degree is also a must. Five years of clinical
nursing experience, and a solid understanding of clinical
documentation integrity practices and coding principles are also
required.
This position offers a hybrid, Monday-Friday schedule. Working on
site weekly is required. Limited travel to various MMP sites as
needed.

Position Summary
The Ambulatory CDI Manager is responsible for the operational
oversight of the ambulatory CDI program activities and objectives
and the direct supervision of its staff. The Manager of Ambulatory
CDI reports directly to the Senior Director of Population
Health.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related healthcare
field.
License/Certifications:
Current RN licensure from the Maine State Board of Nursing -
required.
Clinical Documentation Specialist Certification - required.
Certification in Risk Adjustment Coding - preferred
Experience: Minimum of five years' acute care clinical nursing
experience with knowledge of clinical documentation integrity,
clinical validation, risk adjusted coding principles required.
Experience with quality measures is preferred. Minimum of three
years knowledge and experience in Management preferred. Interest
and experience in data collection, interpretation, and evaluation
preferred. Provides direction and coordination of therapy and other
assigned staff.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong and effective leadership skills.
Ability to manage in a hectic environment to achieve Agency goals
and quality care outcomes.
Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with staff and
coworkers.
Excellent customer service skills.
