SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
As our team has grown, the challenges related to our scale-up have
grown, too. Were looking for a Director of Strategic Business
Operations (BizOps) to help us proactively address a diverse array
of cross-functional business challenges. When issues arise within
functions, theres always a competent leader to handle them; but
when those issues arise between those functions, its Biz Ops who
can swoop in and help. Theres a broad spectrum of unique and
interesting business challenges to solve.
Successful individuals may be called to take on specific business
challenges permanently, making this team an ideal place to gain
both executive and operational experience in a growth stage
business.
LOCATION
100% Remote - Anywhere within the US.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead program management for complex, highly-visible,
cross-functional business initiatives
Partner with Chief Strategy Officer and CEO to drive efficiency and
productivity of the company, streamlining business initiatives,
managing programs and communicating cross-functional objectives
Identify hotspots in the business that require improvement and
proactively investigate, strategize, and implement solutions with
those business leaders
Collaborate with senior leadership across all business functions to
develop quarterly objectives aligned to the company strategy
Document and track objectives and key results to provide
accountability and transparency on the success of our
initiatives
Develop a strategic understanding of the business to connect the
dots between internal teams to efficiently execute on commitments
and deliverables
Identify opportunities and build plans to make our processes,
collaboration, and analysis more efficient and effective
Partner with our finance and revenue ops organizations to
standardize and distribute the key operating metrics for the
business
Provide frequent and transparent updates, manage expectations, and
keep all stakeholders informed of the progress of all projects and
programs.
Some projects you could work on:
M&A integration
Develop business and project plans for initiatives that cut across
the organization, including improvements to internal operations and
product launches
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Bachelors degree
8+ years of experience at a technology company; experience in
Business Operations, Program Management, Product Management or
corporate development; management consulting experience
Deep understanding of SaaS business with demonstrated experience
and passion working for a growth stage software company
Operational excellence: You will be instrumental in maintaining
operational excellence through strategy development and process
excellence to improve team performance. You have a bias for action,
roll-up-the-sleeves approach with strong executive presence and
analytical rigor.
Strategic: You are highly organized and detail-oriented, able to
handle multiple deadlines, projects, and stakeholders. You can
define how a project may benefit a companys efficiency and
strategic plan and help execute it.
Interpersonal Communications Skills: You can convey complex ideas
concisely and actionable manner to internal and external audiences.
You can influence via your ability to pull together compelling,
data-driven narratives.
Collaborative: You have a deep understanding of how to build
collaborative relationships with others, including our customers,
the Executive Team, investors, and partners, among others. You
possess high emotional intelligence and comfort in engaging with
team members and business leaders.
Flexible: You can thrive in a dynamic environment and feel
comfortable with ambiguity. You can work with evolving systems and
structures, demonstrating the flexibility to adapt to changing
settings while managing multiple projects and competing
priorities.
Personable: As an ambassador of Finalsite, you embody the company's
