Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY The Director of Care Management and Utilization
Review demonstrates clinical expertise and strong leadership skills
whose scope includes Utilization Review, Care Management, Discharge
Planning, Re-admissions, and Referrals. The Director assumes
responsibility and accountability for the planning, organizing,
developing, and coordination of the total Care Management Program
in accordance with hospital policy/procedures and regulatory
requirements. Provides the administrative and regulatory detail and
support to the Care Management team, physicians, and other members
of the healthcare team to accomplish organizational goals and
mission. QUALIFICATIONS Education: RN, B.A. or B.S. required;
Masters and CCM preferred Experience: Three to five years of
applicable experience
