  • Grow and profitably maintain Henkel's General Industrial Adhesive Technologies business covering Northeast and Central Florida along with southern Georgia with existing sales base in excess of $4M.
  • Uncover new business opportunities while managing existing customer base.
  • Identify needs of each customer to prioritize, plan and coordinate development activities
  • Provide necessary updates to key stakeholders --- Utilize your creativity and entrepreneurial mindset to provide customized solutions to customer challenges
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with your authorized industrial distributors
  • Motivate customers and distributors alike to seek out Henkel solutions for their projects
  • Present product and solution training for distributors so they can effectively prospect and develop customer projects
  • Create and implement territory management and growth plans that align with the overall strategic directives of the business.
  • Develop strategies to support the profitable growth of Henkel's product lines in the territory.
  • Prioritize, direct & execute sales programs for the assigned market areas.
  • Effectively manage Henkel resources to find answers and respond quickly to project needs
  • Proactively communicate progress and needs to the management team
  • Utilize Henkel's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to manage the sales process.
  • Recognize competitive forces and implement sales strategies to capitalize on them.

    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Ambitious self-starter, who can use Henkel's resources to maximize opportunities within the territory.
    • The ideal candidate will possess value-added selling experience as well as a successful track record working with design, manufacturing, quality engineering and maintenance teams.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and resourcefulness
    • Ability to concentrate on multiple problems/projects at once
    • Excellent time, project management, and prioritization skills required
    • Timely and complete follow up --- Team player who works well with others.
    • Experience working with industrial distribution is a plus
    • Overnight travel up to 25% required.
      The salary for this role is $65,100.00 - $83,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Connecticut. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
