You will be an individual with a proven sales background and extensive contacts in the following areas, Structured Cabling, Voice, Video and Data Network Infrastructures, A/V Conferencing, and PBX/Key systems. Who Your Customers Are

This role serves sales, business development (both inside and outsourced), sales support, and internal subject matter experts. Externally your customers are Company customers and prospects, and your role here is to profoundly engage them and influence them to want to expand their work with Company or engage initially.

Responsibilities: Participate with Senior Management on Business Planning issues. Develop Account Plans for National Accounts Establish and maintain industry contacts Research and develop lists of potential customers. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets. Identify Key people and resources to support Company's growth plans. Make sales contacts, research customer needs. Work with other departments within the company to develop technical solutions and develop proposals for customers on products and services to meet their needs. Meet established sales quotas and revenue goals. Track all pre and post sales activities and identify areas to expand business opportunities. Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers. Develop and submit weekly calendars by 3:00 p.m. on Friday for the following week. Submit weekly sales reports highlighting sales activity for the previous and upcoming months (sales, proposals, and key events). Provide all required information to Sales Assistants, as required, to update the Sales Database and/or produce written proposals (central proposal writing). Performance Metrics/KPIs For This Role

Your success in this role will be measured by a number of Key Performance Indicators including: Leads generated per month Learning and Development Opportunities

Minimum of 5 years experience in Sales, and an AA or better in a related field. Strong computer literacy. Technical knowledge of the Telecommunications products, services, and industry. Excellent oral/written communications skills. Well-developed sales and presentation skills. Excellent customer relations skills.
