We are looking for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) Full time Night
shift at our Kennebec facility in (Augusta, Maine) to provide
general and emergency nursing care in the medical unit of the
correctional facility while maintaining facility security
standards. When necessary, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will
make referrals on behalf of inmates to the staff physician, nurse
practitioner, dentist, mental health professional, or specialist in
alcohol and drug abuse treatment as needed. The Licensed Practical
Nurse (LPN) ensures all medication is administered in accordance
with standard operating procedures and as ordered by the
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) nursing
Current Licensed Practical Nurse license for the state in which the
One year of professional healthcare or nursing experience is
Prior correctional clinical experience preferred.
Current CPR certification with the ability to perform CPR as
