We are a growing unit that delivers compassionate care to members
of the community by members of the community. Services in our
Operating Room include General Surgery, Endoscopy, Genitourinary
surgery, GYN, Cataract, and Ear, Nose, & Throat (ENT) surgery. Our
Orthopedic surgical procedures are quickly advancing with
MAKOplasty Joint Replacement procedures, arthroscopic procedures,
Sports Medicine, and complex hand surgeries. Our surgical staff is
known for being a caring, competent, and a compassionate team and
we are honored to care for those in our community.
The Clinical Resource Leader (CRL) is recognized as the clinical
expert in Patient Care Services and a leadership role model for
Registered Nurses and all staff under their supervision. Directs
the work in such a way to ensure the overall Patient Flow. This
position will assign all patient care activities assuring that
staff are qualified to care for assigned patients, support team
members, and ensure quality and service excellence to our patients.
They will also, facilitate challenging situations. The CRL will
appropriately assign the workload. Responsible for monitoring,
maintaining and developing staff performance.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a health related field- a qualified
candidate in the process of completing the education requirement
will be considered.
Experience: Applicable nurse specialty experience of at least 2
years. Charge or supervisory experience required. Acute care
Licensure, Certification, Registration: Current Connecticut License
Registered Nurse/or Connecticut License in clinical specialty. ACLS
required for designated staff. ACLS strongly recommended for staff
cross trained to these areas. PALS required within 6 months of
employment. BLS required.
Language Skills: Highly effective verbal and written communication
Education: Master's Degree in health related or business field
Experience: At least 3 years of emergency experience. Leadership
Licensure, Certification, Registration: National Certification in
Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements
Must have demonstrated appropriate clinical knowledge to evaluate
and prioritize patient flow issues.
Must have demonstrated excellent leadership, communication, and
problem-solving skills. Previous supervisory experience.
Ability to set priorities, and supervisory skills to manage a work
Must possess a resilient spirit and unrelenting passion for taking
action and making things happen.
