Job Description:
Overview
This role will focus on building the necessary partnerships and
infrastructure to sustain cross-sector collaboration for families
with substance use and behavioral health needs and for Wraparound.
Approximately half of this person's time will involve developing
and coordinating the new Dartmouth Hitchcock sub-committee focused
on improving care at Dartmouth-Hitchcock for families with
substance use and behavioral health challenges and partnerships
with outside stakeholders such as child protection. This
sub-committee will be part of Dartmouth-Hitchcock's broader
Substance Use and Mental Health Initiative (SUMHI). Activities will
include inviting attendees, setting agendas, recording meeting
minutes, coordinating follow-up tasks, supporting an ECHO training
series on relevant topics (e.g., working between adult and child
sectors), and collaborating with other related Dartmouth-Hitchcock
and community initiatives and leaders. The other half of this
person's time and focus will be on integration into community and
state meetings and initiatives to grasp a comprehensive
understanding of the gaps, needs, barriers, facilitators, funding,
and policy relevant to sustaining cross-sector collaboration and
Wraparound for families with substance use and behavioral health
challenges. The person will work with community, agency, consumer,
and state leaders across the bi-state area (VT and NH). This person
will also convene and lead internal project meetings focused on
need, access, and sustainability.
Responsibilities
--- Leads development of project/ program related assessments
activities with minimal supervisor support.
--- Facilitates, develops, coaches, and provides technical
assistance and best practices for one or more collaborative
partnerships.
--- Facilitates or leads project planning efforts with internal and
external stakeholders.
--- Leads, supports and coordinates efforts of internal and
external stakeholders to implement evidence based practices,
activities and programs.
--- Coaches and mentors departmental peers and junior positions as
well as internal/external partners.
--- Recommends and advises project expenditures under supervisor's
guidance.
--- Represents Dartmouth-Hitchcock in all interactions with
internal and external stakeholders.
--- Performs other duties as required or assigned, including be
asked to serve on Boards/Govt. Committees to advance program
goals.
Qualifications
--- Bachelor's degree
--- Minimum 4 years' experience in related field.
--- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, creativity,
flexibility, diplomacy, Allyship and the ability to work as part of
and lead teams with positive team culture.
--- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects under pressure
with minimal support, required.
Required Licensure/Certifications
--- Holds or obtains field-specific and dept. certifications within
24 mos.
--- Trained in basic facilitation/ leadership of teams, RBA, and
DEIB/Equity/Allyship
