Overview:

The largest clinician consulting owned psychiatric group in CT which provides exceptional care to geriatric clients in an assisted living, nursing home, inpatient, and outpatient setting is looking for a LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER (LCSW) to join the team. A flexible Monday-Friday work schedule is offered for full-time or part-time hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

Educational- Experience Requirements:

Masters Degree in Social Work

1+ years of clinical social work experience with the geriatric population is preferred.

Two years of social work experience, preferably in health care

License, Certification, Registration:

Current unrestricted LCSW license in Connecticut required.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Competency in working with the elderly and their families.

Ability to make psychosocial assessments and develop and implement viable care plans.

Must be familiar with EHR medical documentation.

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Knowledge of social work principles and practices, including case management and counseling techniques.

Ability to empathize with clients.

Experience writing assessments and reports to monitor client progress.

Valid drivers license, have access to a car and willingness to drive to patient homes-patient location as well as an active auto insurance policy.
