healthcare to our community. JOB SUMMARY
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and
Family Therapist (LMFT) who provides counseling services to the
population of students enrolled in the School-Based Health Center
(SBHC) according to the age specific needs of the child and
adolescent student. Services include short-term counseling, group
counseling, crisis intervention, supportive counseling, and
referral of appropriate students to community mental health
providers. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed
Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) will interact effectively with
students, their families, fellow school based staff members and
school staff. Qualifications Education: Master's Degree in area of
expertise; Licensure in Social Work or Marriage and Family
Therapy
Experience: New Graduate LCSW / LMFT. Experienced LCSW/LMFT
preferred with 1-3 years of clinical experience in providing direct
service in School Health or Community Health setting. Licensure,
Certification, Registration: State of CT LCSW or LMFT required.
