Responsibilities:Planning, overseeing, and executing nursing services for residents while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Collaborating with the Nursing Director to strategize nursing service operations and emergency support provisions for shifts.Adjusting care plans in collaboration with medical staff to address emergency medical needs.Ensuring adequate relief staff availability before leaving the facility and notifying residents' personal physicians in case of significant changes in their condition or immediate medical care needs.Handle admission of new residents.Overseeing and guiding Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering quality care.Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operationsNOW HIRING: 7AM-7PM Saturdays, and SundayQualifications & Experience Requirements for Weekend Nurse Supervisor:Previous Experience as a Weekend Nurse Supervisor preferredLicensed Registered NurseCurrent State of Connecticut Registered Nurse LicenseAt least one (2) year of clinical experienceStrong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Long term care experience preferredHPby Jobble
