The Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessing, planning, and administering respiratory care services. This individual will work with patients of all ages, utilizing advanced clinical judgment and providing education to patients and families. The role requires adherence to department policies and licensure standards. Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an Advanced Level Respiratory Therapist Educational Program or two-year Respiratory college.
• Experience: Newly graduated with 1,000 clinical hours in a hospital setting.
• Licensure: RRT registered by N.B.R.C., current CT state licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner, BLS certification, ACLS within 6 months of hire, current PALS or STABLE Certification and NRP certification preferred.
• Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated knowledge of pulmonary function testing, strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking, time management, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
