Unlock your potential at Frisbie Memorial HospitalJob Summary and QualificationsThe Geropsychiatric Unit RN is expected to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on the physical ability, intellectual development, psychosocial, education and safety needs of the geriatric patient. In this role, you will care for patients through our unique program that offers therapeutic interventions allowing you to evaluate, treat, and support individuals in their recovery. We are recruiting nurses with experience and the clinical drive to work with mental health in our community. If you want to work for a dynamic team who cares for each other like family, then apply today.On our team, you will providepsychiatric assessment and referral services (PARS)You will assist in patient care with our outpatient partial hospitalization program (PHP)Work closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team modelYou will provide inpatient evaluations, medical evaluationsProvide individual, family, and group therapy as well as outpatient treatment options at time of dischargeCare for voluntary and involuntary patientsREQUIREMENTSBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Degree preferred.RN License in the State of NH or valid Compact StateBLS (American Heart Association BLS Provider or Red Cross BLS)Located in the Greater Seacoast region of New Hampshire and Southern Maine, Frisbie Memorial Hospital boasts of 112 beds and is a top-notch medical facility.
