Wound Care RN needed for UConn John Dempsey Hospital
Prior travel preferred
Epic Experience Required
Covid Vax or medical/religious exemption accepted.
Time off requests must be kept to a minimum during your assignment
and must be approved prior to confirmation. - Please note, holidays
off will be limited to -1 of the 3 major and at the discretion of
UCONN Health.

Care to patients with Wound/Ostomy needs including assessment,
diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning and implementation.
Provides consultation for individuals with altered skin integrity.
Validates pressure ulcer data collection for nursing quality
indicator. Marks the stoma site preoperatively. Other related
duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Master's preferred.
Three [3] years of recent relevant nursing experience
Graduation from an accredited wound and ostomy nursing education
program
Wound and Ostomy Certifications from an accredited institution.
Must possess and maintain a current during employment license to
practice nursing in the State of Connecticut.
Current certification in Basic Life Support [BLS].Medical Solutions
