Villa Maria Rehabilitation & Nursing, a Short-Term Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility located in Plainfield, CT is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN/LPN). 7a-3p/3p-11p.We are looking for a reliable Charge Nurses to care for geriatric patient population in a professional and considerate manner. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse Supervisor. The ideal candidate will be experienced in Long term care setting and in providing diverse basic care to those who need it while remaining patient and calm.Responsibilities Record patients medical history accurately Administration of medications and treatments as ordered Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc. Monitor patients condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks Collect samples for lab testing as assigned Oversight of assigned staff members on your unit Provide emotional and psychological support when needed Communicate with patients family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry and PCC Compassionate and able to handle stressJob Type: Part-Time / Full-timeby Jobble
