The Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are an essential part of the multidisciplinary team that plans and delivers care for complex surgical and trauma patients in the ICU. -The critical patient population includes complex trauma, transplant, vascular, general surgery, neurosurgery, interventional radiology and -other critical care patients as the service needs dictate. - Role : Open to Physician Assistants or Acute Care Nurse Practitioners Location : 79 Jefferson Street, Hartford, 06102 Setting : Inpatient, Critical Care, Surgery Schedule: - Full-time, Permanent Nights - - Premium differentials offered .   Requirements:
  • Licensure : Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
  • Training : Certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
  • • Minimum of 1-2 years of recent critical care experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in an ICU setting. -
    • Proven ability to independently manage ICU patients, including proficiency in ventilator management, resuscitation, and performing critical care procedures within the APP scope of practice. -
